Produced from an old white grape variety of Provencal origin and aged on fine lees, our Bourboulenc is fresh and fruity. This is a highly original wine that truly deserves to be discovered.
The grapes are harvested in the morning and pressed immediately in order to avoid any risk of oxidation. We prefer to stop malolactic fermentation to showcase the wine's unique saline notes and fresh fruit flavours and aromas. Our Bourboulenc is aged on the lees until February for richness, roundness and freshness.

This wine is brilliant in aspect, with lively, fresh colour and green highlights. It is very fruity and floral, combining aromas of peach and apricot with delicate scents of white blossoms. Rich yet refreshing on the palate with lovely, ripeness and a long, saline finish.
It is quite certain that Bourboulenc is of Provencal origin. It is an old white grape variety that was once very common in the south of France. Today it is found in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. It is also the oldest grape variety cultivated in the vineyards of La Clape and Corbières. These two AOCs, which are better known today for their red wines, once produced only white wines which were introduced by the Romans more than two thousand years ago. Narbonensis was an important province under the Roman Empire and La Clape was an island that the alluvial deposits of the Aude River gradually linked with the mainland over time.
