Les Jamelles Naturelles is a range of wines produced from organically grown grapes which have been certified by the French official government body ECOCERT. It guarantees that the vines have been cultivated in accordance with the organic growing regulations.
The bunches are harvested early in the morning in order to avoid hot day temperatures, and are pressed directly. They are then vinified as white wines : racking of the must, vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats.
This Syrah rosé has intense flavours of cherry, grenadine, and blackcurrant leaf. It is very well-balanced between richness and the delicious freshness of citrus and grapefruit.
Syrah (or Shiraz) is an old respected grape variety from the North of the Rhône Valley, which gives some of the best red wines in the world. This very fine and aromatic variety also produces delicious fragrant rosé wines. The bunches are cultivated on thick clay and limestone soils in the Hérault plain, near the town of Béziers in the Languedoc region, in the South of France.
Served at 8°C, this wine is an an excellent pre-dinner drink and a perfect match to salads, grilled meats or fishes, stuffed vegetables and pizza.
